My Priorities
Public Safety
The 2025 Community Survey found that 96% of Cypress residents consider their city safe. I make it a priority to ensure our police department has the necessary tools, training, and resources, and I support programs such as Explorer, PACE, and VIP. As someone who actively participates in the Cypress Police Foundation and formerly served on the board of the Orange County Fire Authority, I continue to demonstrate my commitment through ongoing involvement.
Fiscal Responsibility
Cypress is one of the most financially secure cities in Orange County. I support low taxes, balanced budgets, strong reserves and paying down our city's unfunded pension liability by 2030.
Invest in our Parks, Programs, Infrastructure & Facilities
I believe in investing in our community to foster a bright and prosperous future. City Commissioners suggest essential programs/services, while the Capital Improvement Plan outlines our yearly investments in facilities and infrastructure. Reimagining Arnold Cypress Park, city sponsored events, and the programs at our Senior Center exemplify the city’s commitment to enhancing quality of life for residents.
Community Engagement
Working on the council offers the valuable opportunity to partner with local residents, businesses, non-profits, and schools. I highly value input from the community, as it helps to influence our city priorities, while maintaining the quality of life for our residents.
